MY Silly Girl

This was too cute not to scrap!

Becky had found a lip balm with shimmer and her rosy sunglasses. Came over to me telling me to, "LOOK" My Pretty Silly Girl had the sunglasses on upside down and when I got the camera and asked her to show me her lips...I captured a bunch of silliness!

A Game of Catch

Here is a LO that I have had the pictures for awhile. The last few days and nights have been so nice here…It got me remembering cool Summer breezes. I love when that breeze is just right: feeling the sun on you but not the true heat of it, working outside or sleeping cozy under the light blankets. Since this time of year also brings the baseball season and the players as well as the fans are gearing up! I thought this layout was fitting. These pictures were from a Summer that my niece and nephew were living here. The Brothers (my husband and brother-in-law) were starting their own Baseball Camp in the backyard. With mitts ready and tennis balls on hand they started out on the basics of catching…….

On a Personal Note: This past Summer we got to spend most of the Summer with them and family. I miss them especially since according to MapQuest they are 36 hours 42 mins / 1768.91 driving miles away. So, I can’t wait to see them again this Summer…

So, what I did to make this layout. I used light blue cardstock for the background papers and green polka dot pattern paper was scraps I had. I inked up the edges of cardstock and pattern paper using Close To My Heart Twilight ink. For the matting, title, subtitles and arrows used Bazzill basics in Great Lakes. The arrows were from the Close To My Heart Star Struck stamp set. I stamped on the back of the Great Lakes cardstock and then fussy cut the arrows. For my title I used the Cricut Cartridge Alphalicious – Short Stack Shadow option. The subtitles: nice catch, catcher and pitcher came from the Cricut Cartridge Baseball Solutions.

Pages, Pages, Pages

I find that have a pile actually a 3-ring binder full of pages that just need something to be completed. I was reading somewhere and they mentioned PHD, which means Pages Half Done. So, I guess I am not alone.
Anyway, last night got to finish 2 of those PHD's and do a new layout with scrappin' friends at her house. A much needed welcome after hubby being home since Tuesday. So, he is working today, thankfully! Not just for because we(kids/I) have our routine back but also so we can eat and put diapers on the youngest.

OK, so I am going to get something done today and update. Since there hasn't been a pic posted in a few!

Needs a little something more but at least it is out of the Pages Half Done Binder!

Crop Cancelled for Today

So, the crop I was supposed to go today was canceled and I am disappointed. But I did get to finish up a Challenge last night.
For this challenge, I had to create some sort of grid on your page that has 12 sections. You must also use the number 12 in your title or subtitle somehow and your layout needs to be Christmas-themed.

Another Challenge Completed:
1) JUNE/Summer themed
2) Multiple photos (doesn't have to be 6, but must be more than 1)
3) MUST USE 6 papers (no more, no less) -- (cardstock & pp each count as one..)
4) NOT A REQUIREMENT but as an optional extra challenge: Use the number 6 somewhere on your layout....(I used the NUMBER 6 in my journaling.. ages of the boys)

Looking at the layout together I think I need to add the Yankees Symbols on the right page. It is too empty..
