Slam into Summer Blog Hop - Day 2

Your back for Day 2!!!

Welcome to the Slam into Summer Blog Hop-Day 2! You should have arrived here after visiting HEATHER'S blog, Scrapping The Guys.

If not, then just go and visit If It's Groovy and you will be at the start of the hop!!!

We here at If It's Groovy plan to show you projects over the next three more days that make us think of Summer.

We hope you enjoy your time and be sure to visit over each day as there may be new surprises along the way!

We would love to have you follow our blogs and get to know us as well as give us a chance to know you :)

Since today was the last day of school here! I wanted to show you a birthday card I made for my nephew.  My nephew will be on his dirt bike EVEN MORE often!

This one was made for my daughter's friends 5th birthday!

This one was made for a second cousin's 3rd birthday. It was held at a Railway Museum.

Last is a card I made using scraps awhile ago, but it has been waiting for it's Summer Slam opportunity!

I enjoy the outdoors and our family has been camping once already! With plans for some more to come!

We have been seeing and hearing more and more birds, as it warms up here!

Would love to do a train travel vacation or trip, some day! But I am looking forward to my son getting his train table here!

Lastly, I am always ready for some ice cream.

I would love it if your not a follower already, join my list!

Leave a comment letting me know you stopped by!

I will be having a prize!

I read about a cool family Summer idea.

WE are going to make a Summer Bucket List.

So, give us some Summer ideas to add!

Our family has hubby, a 5 year old, an almost 3 year old & me!

So we already got the s'mores supplies, bubbles & water guns/balloons stocked!

Here one of my favorite pictures of my daughter that captures her spirit. That cute silly face always smiling and lovin' life!

I love Webster's Pages Bloomers since I saw them on a Christmas layout. I couldn't wait to get my hands on some...well I did but they are so pretty all I could do was look at them! So, this was my first page I used them!!!!! Finally got them out and used some of my stash! I love it!

Another fun thing I love to do is reusing things.

Under my title I used a clean piece of fabric from one of my son's stained up onesies.

Rolled up the edges a bit so you get the idea of a towel.

Plus, it allowed my title to show off!

So, I hope you are all enjoying a chance to jump in the pool! Here in Canada we are getting great sunny weather just not ready to go jumping into any water (Outdoors anyway!)

Using Close to My Heart Alpha Stamp Sets: A Typeface & Felicity also Hook, Liner & Sinker

Ran the Label through Cuttlebug using Tim Holtz's Woodgrain Embossing Folder

Inked it up a bit.

Attached using GlueDots and added Jolee's Fishing Dimensional Stickers

Cut out a 3" Star-Burst, inked it up with some blue ink. Added some of the Jolee's stickers. Attached to the top lid of the paint can.

I love to see when sketches are used for cards and pages! The are so many ways that can be used.
